Bel Air's Jaxon Cited As Star Student: Here’s Why
We all know students who excel in academic, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Bel Air.

BEL AIR, MD — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
The submission below comes from Denise L. Dobbeck who wrote the nomination for Jaxon of Bel Air.

How do you know the star local student?
Grandson
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
He was one of 19 students to finish middle school with straight A’s all 3 years. Even with COVID online studies. He helped his little sister keep all A’s and a friend with his studies. Jaxon has always played sports from wrestling when he was 5 -7 then soccer and baseball. Every coach he has had tells his parents what a great and talented kid he is. Going to school keeping straight A’s helping neighbor with trash can, shoveling snow, cutting grass and all for free because that’s what good people do, he says. He attends Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school, too. He just won the UCBAC at 160 pounds, beating an upperclassman. Jaxon is a well-rounded person doing for others before himself.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
He cares for others and puts his teammates before himself
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Jaxon!
