Cadets Raise Money In Late Bel Air Student's Name
Joshua Lilliston of Bel Air died of a rare eye cancer Oct. 30.

Bel Air resident and member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, Joshua Lilliston, succumbed to a rare eye cancer in October, and this month cadets raised money for a scholarship named in his honor, according to an article in Virginia Tech News.

Lilliston went through a lengthy battle with cancer that began in his high school years, according to an article in The Patriot, John Carroll School's newspaper.

Lilliston was a sophomore and a member of the regimental band, the Highty-Tighties at the time of his death. He was also on the Dean's List.
He is survived his mother, Kathy Lilliston of Bel Air and many other loving family members, according to his obituary.
