Child In Grave Condition After Route 24 Pedestrian Crash: Officials

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two people were hit on MD 24 at Interstate 95 Thursday night, according to officials.

One child was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in grave condition, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported at 11:10 p.m.

An adult was being flown by Maryland State Police medevac to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, officials said.

Route 24 was shut down between Edgewood Road and I-95, according to fire officials.
