County Names 3 Employees of the Month

Three facilities employees have been named Harford County government's employees of the month for May.

Richard Sparr, Richard Dehne and Marcus Ringold, who all work in the facilities and operations division in the county's department of administration, were honored for their efforts in an employee food drive, county officials announced Tuesday.

"It was the responsibility of these men to ensure that all the donated food was collected from various locations throughout the county. They did so and then transported the food to the Harford Community Action Food Bank," coworker Jen Davis said in a release. "These men demonstrate professionalism, dedication, attention to detail, and passion for excellence on a daily basis."

Mary Chance, the county's director of administration, commended the three men's "dedication, selfless service and exemplary performance throughout the year" in the release.
