Darlington Apple Festival Returns Saturday With Pie Contest, Activities

DARLINGTON, MD — The Darlington Apple Festival will be held this weekend on Oct. 4.

Visitors to the Darlington Apple Festival Saturday will enjoy apple-themed treats and other food, craft vendors, artists, a children's area and more. There will be a special focus on supporting local nonprofit organizations, providing an opportunity for the community to come together and making a positive impact.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Silver Park and on the elementary school grounds. For a list of which vendors will be at the 2025 event, click here. The apple pie contest will be held with rules available online, too.

Shuttle buses will be picking up and dropping at the Meadow Field across from High's store, the Chesapeake Harley Davidson and the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company. The shuttle will take guests to the parking lot at the Darlington Post Office and former pharmacy. Handicap parking will be available behind Darlington Elementary School. All lots are monitored and $5 cash only, organizers stated.
