Fetus Found in Bel Air Trash Bin
Police are investigating after a fetus was found in a Bel Air trash bin Tuesday.

UPDATE (10:17 a.m.)—A dead fetus was found in a trash bin Tuesday night and are investigating.
Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, a woman told Baltimore County police that she had placed her stillborn baby in a trash receptacle in the 900 block of Sablewood Drive near the , Bel Air Police announced on Wednesday.
Baltimore County detectives, joined by , escorted the woman to the area where her "stillborn baby was placed in a plastic bag and then in a trash bin," a press release stated.

Investigators learned the woman gave birth to the baby inside the Bel Air residence of a relative.
She was taken to on Tuesday for medical attention and to be further interviewed by police. The child's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, according to the press release.
