Fire On Baltimore Pike Spread To Building: Bel Air VFC

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company controlled a fire at the Bel Air Town Center in a matter of minutes, officials said.

BEL AIR, MD — Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Baltimore Pike on Thursday afternoon, where a fire broke out at a shopping center, resulting in a plume of smoke.

At 4:05 p.m., crews responded to the blaze at the Bel Air Town Center, where they brought the fire under control in five minutes.

The blaze began in the ventilation system and spread, leading to minor extension into the building, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
