State Fire Marshal's Office Investigating Fire That Caused $200K Damage To Edgewood Home
An Edgewood home experienced $200K in damage and loss of contents after a fire broke out Friday during the noon hour, officials report.

EDGEWOOD, MD — A fire broke out during the noon hour Friday at a home located at 2102 Railroad Venue in Edgewood.
The fire was discovered by the owner on an exterior wall. Around 40 firefighters from the Joppa-Magnolia Fire Company responded to the call for help. It took around 30 minutes for the firefighters to gain control of the fire, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
The home experienced $200,000 in damages and estimated loss of contents. The fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal's office.
