Fire Damages Rear, Second Floor Of Aberdeen Home

Multiple fire companies assisted with a house fire Saturday afternoon that damaged the back and upper floor of an Aberdeen home.

ABERDEEN, MD — On Saturday shortly after 3 p.m., firefighters found a house on fire in the 200 block of Spesutia Road.

Flames were pouring out of the back of the home and stretched up to the second floor when the firefighters arrived. It took crews less than 18 minutes to gain control of the fire, the fire department stated.

The Aberdeen Fire Department was assisted by the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire & Emergency Services, Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Susquehanna Hose Company, Harford County Department of Emergency Services, Harford County Md Fire & EMS PIO Media Page, Abingdon Fire Company - MD and the Level Volunteer Fire Company.
