Forest Hill Fire Causes $100K Damage
The fire that damaged a Forest Hill home remained under investigation Tuesday.

It took firefighters four hours to quell a two alarm house fire in Forest Hill that caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Chestnut Hill Road after a passerby noticed the 60 foot by 56 foot house was aflame around 3:27 a.m. Tuesday , the release states.
The fire went to second alarm and 40 firefighters from Bel Air, Jarrettsville, Darlington and Whiteford volunteer fire companies contained the flames after about 4 hours, according to state fire marshals.
The fire caused about $100,000 in damage—$70,000 damage to the building and $30,000 damage to what was inside it, according to a release from the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
The cause of the fire and where it started remained under investigation Tuesday afternoon.
