Klein's Family Markets will hold a shopping spree for its 100th anniversary, a vodka patent, and a Caribbean eatery has opened in Annapolis.

MARYLAND — A staple in many Marylanders' shopping trips, Klein's Family Markets will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year with in-store specials, a free grocery shopping spree, and the relaunch of the Festival at Bel Air store as a signature flagship store in the second half of 2025.
The tropics are coming to Annapolis thanks to a pair of doctors and a celebrity chef. The Caribbean restaurant Rumhouse will feature a fusion of flavors from Jamaica, Venezuela, Japan, India, New Orleans and Charleston.
A Maryland distiller just became the nation's first to receive a patent for its electrolyte-infused vodka. Lytos is sold in more than 500 bars, restaurants and liquor stores in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

Klein’s Family Markets has six stores in Harford County, two in Baltimore County and one in Baltimore City. To celebrate 100 years in business, the chain will hold events including a spree where a shopper can grab all the groceries they can carry — at no cost.
Celebrity Chef, 2 Doctors Open Rumhouse Caribbean Eatery In Annapolis
Rumhouse, a new upscale Caribbean restaurant, opened recently in the city's Eastport neighborhood. Famed Trinidadian chef Natasha de Bourg will lead the eatery, drawing from her experience in the world's best kitchens and her appearances on multiple TV shows.
1st Patent For Electrolyte-Infused Vodka Earned By MD's Lytos
Lytos, founded by a Towson University graduate in 2019, is headquartered in Severna Park and distilled in Columbia. Lytos vodka is infused with the essential electrolytes salt, potassium and phosphorus, earning a patent for its distilling process.
