76 Counties In MD Under Frost Advisory
Six counties in Maryland are under a frost advisory, including Harford. Check the forecast from the National Weather Service.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of northern Maryland, including Harford County. Temperatures as low as 33 overnight will lead to frost formation, according to the weather service.
The near-freezing temps come before highs in the 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The frost advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Monday, April 11.

These areas are under the frost advisory:

- Baltimore County
- Carroll County
- Cecil County
- Frederick County
- Harford County
- Washington County
Officials said these areas specifically may experience frost: Jarrettsville, Aberdeen, Hagerstown, Frederick, Ballenger Creek, Eldersburg, Westminster, Reisterstown, Cockeysville and Elkton.

Because frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation, authorities advise covering it.

Sunday — Scattered sprinkles after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52 and low around 33 degrees. Northwest wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
Monday — Areas of frost from midnight to 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly clear and sunny, with a high near 61 degrees. Northwest wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Low of 48 degrees.
Tuesday — Chance of showers from 5 to 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 71 and low around 50. West wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Wednesday — A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. At night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.
