Galbani Maryland Italian Festival Returns To Harford County Sept. 27-29

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The Galbani Maryland Italian Festival returns to the Hartford County Equestrian Center this fall with events starting Friday.

The Italian Festival, which is presented by Jarrettsville Furniture, is a charity event hosted by the Society of Italian American Businessmen. The three-day outdoor festival attracted 25,000 attendees from more than 15 states in 2023, its inaugural year. This year will include carnival attractions and midway games, two wine, beer and liquor piazzas and double the amount of food and beverage vendors.

Musician Frank Stallone will be headlining the festival, which will also feature artists such as Blond Ambition and Ray Massa’s Eurorhythms. SAIB will be hosting their annual Bocce Tournament, where attendees can cheer on teams including Special Olympians while competing for cash prizes for charity.

Larry Noto, Galbani Maryland Italian Festival co-chair, said organizers were grateful for the 25,000 people who attended the first year of the festival, helping the Society of Italian American Businessmen raise $200,000 for charity in three days.

“This year, the festival has expanded its footprint doubling the food and bars, adding more carnival rides and bringing in national headliners such as Frank Stallone. We've also brought in a professional traffic engineer to help with traffic flow and professional parking attendants," Galbani told Patch.

The event runs from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. The Harford County Equestrian Center is located at 608 N. Tollgate Rd., Bel Air.
