Garage Fire Under Investigation By State Fire Marshal's Office
The state fire marshal's office is investigating a fire that was discovered burning the exterior wall of an attached garage in Edgewood.

EDGEWOOD, MD — The state fire marshal's office is investigating a garage fire that happened Wednesday night at an Edgewood property.
The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company sent more than two dozen firefighters to the home located in the 2100 block of Nuttal Avenue Aug. 27 around 8:42 p.m. Firefighters found flames burning the exterior wall of a one-story attached garage.
It took firefighters around 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which was discovered by a passerby, according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal. Investigators have estimated loss and damages at $2,000. Investigators are continuing to look into the fire.
