Aberdeen Great-Grandma Wins $50K On Lotto Ticket For A Second Time This Year
A great-grandma from Aberdeen has won another $50K on a scratch-off ticket bought this year.
ABERDEEN, MD — A great-grandmother from Aberdeen has cashed in for the second time this year with a winning lottery ticket worth another $50,000.
When the woman stopped by Maryland Lottery to claim her winnings recently, she shared that she won $50,000 in March playing the Bonus Bingo X20 scratch-off and just recently won $50,000 playing the Ice scratch-off.
Calling herself "Ms. Bee," she told lottery officials she was running errands when she stopped at Rutter’s in Aberdeen to pick up some of her favorite games. She chose a few of the $10 Ice tickets because she has won on the game in the past. She began scanning them one at a time.

“When the first couple of tickets were not winners, I knew a win would be coming up,” she said. “I scratched the first matched number and saw the $10,000 and was excited about that. But, I kept scratching and revealed four more $10,000 amounts and thought, ‘This is great.’”
The Harford County resident headed home with her winning ticket and showed her daughter for confirmation. Her daughter agreed that “Ms. Bee” was holding a $50,000 winner.

“It’s so amazing because I won $50,000 earlier this year on another scratch-off game,” said the retired federal employee.
“Ms. Bee” said she plans to put her winnings in the bank and will make some home improvements in the near future. The Rutter’s where she bought the ticket is at 1051 South Philadelphia Boulevard in Aberdeen.
