MARYLAND — Front yards across Maryland have been taken over by ghoulish creatures and become ghostly graveyards, spooky skeleton setups and wacky witch watering holes.

Those who love the haunting season will want to check out the displays below that were sent to Patch by readers for our 2025 Halloween yard display guide. We've added submissions in the last week, so there are new yards to check out.

416 St. Martins Choice Lane, Severna Park

For 2025, homeowner Katie Pearce combined previous years' themes into one spooky sight.


Shady Grove Village in Gaithersburg

A new display at Charles Somerville's home has been coined Hell's Kitchen and features Halloween versions of Gordon Ramsey, Martha Stewart, Julia Child and Emeril Legasse. The idea for this particular display at their home was from his daughter, a leukemia and stroke survivor who watched Julia Child in grade school and still loves cooking and cooking shows to this day, Somerville told Patch.


Cannery Court, Forest Hill

Craig Schuelke shared his extensive front lawn display decked out for Halloween. He jokingly calls himself Scary Mr. Craig.


1944 Medallion Ct., Forest Hill

Stephanie Notarange's 13-year-old son loves Halloween. In fact, he saves his money year-round to buy Halloween displays and asks for props for Christmas and his birthday. This year, he's added a pirate trail called Curse of Cutthroat Cove that will be ready on Halloween, but the yard is decorated and ready to be shared with the community.


1743 Deer Park Rd., Finksburg

Trick-or-treaters are invited to stop by this home on Halloween between 6 and 9 p.m. and enjoy Susan Bonura's spooky display filled with ghosts, bats, spiders and tombstones.


156 East Main St., Westminster

Call Bumba's Spooky Boo Porch, this porch display is ready and waiting for visitors.


11423 Catalina Terrace, Silver Spring

The Catalina Haunt presented by Holly Agouridis is open for visitors Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 6:45 to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. For safety's sake, do not walk onto the grassy area.


4309 Highview Ave., Baltimore

Swing by this home in Baltimore for an eerie yard display. The theme is NOSFERATU and the owners Heather and Paul McElderry wrote spookily, "Come play with us in the shadows."


636 Baldwin Dr., Joppatowne

John "Jay" Glenn shared this photo of his display at the last house on Baldwin Drive, with two spookily tall creatures.


430 Old Home Rd., Overlea

Christine Conner-Jacobs shared her front lawn display in time for Halloween, complete with a giant spooky skeleton.
