National JuCo Lacrosse Championship This Weekend Features Harford Team Vying For 1st Place
The Harford Community College men's lacrosse team will be fighting this weekend to protect their national championship title.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — For the third straight year, Harford Community College will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Men’s Lacrosse Championship this weekend.
The men's lacrosse team has its sights set on winning its third consecutive national championship, too. If they do win, the Fighting Owls will become the first team to achieve that honor since Onondaga Community College in 2017-2019.
“Our program takes a lot of pride in competing to be the best we can be all the time,” said Harford Community College Lacross Head Coach Aaron Verardi. “Last year, we learned the hard way that we can’t forget that and disrespect what it takes to win a big game against a very good opponent.”
