Harford Glen Pier Closes Suddenly: School Official
The popular Harford Glen Pier has sustained damage and will remain closed to the public until it can be safely reopened, officials said.

BEL AIR, MD — A popular pier sustained damaged and has been closed to the public, according to Harford County Public Schools.
On Tuesday, the school district emailed all families to notify them that the Harford Glen Pier would be shut down "for the foreseeable future" after an incident happened that caused damage to portions of the pier's structure.
"Due to the nature of the incident, we aren't providing details at this time. I can share it was not vandalism or any intentional damage to the structure," Jillian Lader, manager of communications for HCPS, posted on the district's Facebook page.
