Harford to Hold Fall 2025 Community College Promise Scholarship Event
The scholarship provides tuition assistance for eligible applicants to attend community college.
Harford Community College will hold a Community College Promise Scholarship Info Event on Wednesday, November 19, from 6 to 8 PM, in Edgewood Hall, Room 132.
Students and their families will learn how they can receive the College Promise Scholarship that provides tuition assistance for eligible applicants to attend the community college in their county for FREE (almost). There will be a Q&A session plus resources to share.
The Community College Promise Scholarship is one of the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s (MHEC) most popular scholarships. For the seven-year run of the Promise Scholarship, Harford Community College has awarded over 600 students, from both credit and noncredit programs, over 2 million dollars in free aid. Since the awarding began in the 2019-2020 academic year, 273 degrees have been earned by Promise recipients.
