Harford Tech Build Awarded $25,000 Grant

The $25,000 contribution from Bank of America will help fund Habi-Tech Green Build.

Harford Tech Build, an organization with Harford Tech High School, recently received a $25,000 grant from Bank of America. 

Bank of America’s $25,000 contribution will help fund Habi-Tech Green Build, a home that is built by students from Harford Technical High School using the latest green technology, according to a release.

"We’re working with community partners to help connect individuals and families to affordable housing as a first step toward long-term financial stability,” said David Millman, Maryland and Baltimore market president of Bank of America in a release.

Bank of America has also supported nine other organizations and initiatives that contribute to preserving neighborhoods and providing financial education and coaching for future homeowners.
