Harford Community College has named a new head coach of the softball team.
Harford Athletics and Athletic Director Ken Krsolovic announced the hiring of Erin Clary as softball head coach. Clary, an NCAA National Champion, played collegiately at Lock Haven University, an NCAA Division II school in central Pennsylvania.
Prior to coming to Harford Community College, Clary spent one year as an assistant at Washington & Jefferson College, an NCAA Division III school in Washington, PA. She helped the Presidents reach their first conference tournament appearance since 2007 with 25 victories.
As a student-athlete at Lock Haven, Clary earned All-PSAC honors as a junior and was a three-year starter at shortstop. As a freshman, she was part of the 51-6 Lady Eagles NCAA National Championship team.
