Jarrettsville Crash Closed Road, Impacted School Buses
The road closure lasted for hours on Friday due to wires down, officials said.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — School buses in northern Harford County were delayed Friday morning, officials said. A crash in Jarrettsville prompted a road closure that lasted the whole day.
Wires came down in a crash on Jarrettsville Road, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported before 6 a.m.
As a result, Route 23 was closed between Route 165 and Schuster Road.

"We have been advised to expect a prolonged closure due to the downed wires," Harford county Public Schools said in a statement. "Expect delays for most North Harford area buses."
Officials said the road reopened after 7 p.m.
