Klein’s ShopRite Of Forest Hill Sells $10K Mega Millions Ticket
A grocery store in Forest Hill sold a third-tier prize in the recent Mega Millions drawing that had a jackpot of over $1 billion.

FOREST HILL, MD — A grocery store in Forest Hill sold one of 11 tickets in Maryland worth $10,000 from the recent MegaMillions drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The player purchased the third-tier winning ticket at Klein's ShopRite of Forest Hill at 2101 Rock Spring Road.
For Friday's drawing, the jackpot was above $1.3 billion, which someone in Illinois hit by matching all the numbers. It was the second-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history; the biggest was more than $1.5 billion in 2018, won by someone in South Carolina.

To win $10,000 in the drawing on Friday, July 29, the Forest Hill player matched four white balls plus the yellow Mega Ball, according to the Maryland Lottery.
These were the winning numbers from Friday's drawing: 13, 36, 45, 57, 67 and Mega Ball of 14.

The Forest Hill winner had not claimed the $10,000 prize as of Monday, Aug. 1, lottery officials said.
