Man Shot Near Abingdon Liquor Store, Suspect Arrested
Police say a man was shot by an acquaintance in Abingdon Monday afternoon. The suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting.
ABINGDON, MD — A man was shot outside a liquor store Monday afternoon and the suspect arrested not long after, police say.
The incident happened around 4:08 p.m. outside the Friendship Wine and Liquors next to a Wawa in the 3500 block of Woodsdale Road. Police said the suspect and victim knew each other.
The shooting victim was flown to a local trauma center for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
