New List Spotlights This MD Beach Town As One Of The Best In Region
If you're looking for a great beach spot this summer, you won't have to travel far. This Maryland town ranks among the best in the region.
MARYLAND — Summer is almost here, and it's time to start thinking about those plans to get away involving surf, sand and sun.
With that in mind, Condé Nast Traveler has named its top 17 beach town destinations on the East Coast. The new list includes everything from "charming, historic New England towns to tropical Southern getaways." The spots range from those perfect for family vacations to the shore to solo trips and group getaways.
The one beach town in Maryland that made the list is Ocean City. From the saltwater air to the local seafood and beautiful white sandy beach, the seaside resort town of Ocean City offers fun for the whole family. There's the bustling boardwalk, saltwater taffy and activities for all ages that include surfing, fishing and kayaking.
