A 235-year-old popular baking company known for its variety of flours will open its first location in Maryland, while a new upscale dining experience, the Captain's Daughter, recently opened featuring locally sourced seafood, farm-to-table produce and elevated comfort fare.

Discount clothing store Ross will open its second Anne Arundel County location, a new flight is coming to BWI Airport, and the best pizzerias.

King Arthur will move into what was occupied by Indigo Octopus, which is relocating to Bethesda Row. The company's website says it will open in August, but no specific date was listed. Business hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The shop will remain open through the holidays.

Captain's Daughter Opens Upscale Coastal Restaurant In Westin Annapolis

Captain's Daughter is now open in the lobby of the Westin Annapolis, located at 100 Westgate Circle. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from its new space in the Annapolis Arts District. The eatery serves brunch on the weekend.

Ross Opening Soon In Gambrills' Waugh Chapel Towne Centre

Ross Dress For Less is coming to the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre in Gambrills. It will be located next to Target. The soft opening is scheduled for July 18, and the grand opening is on July 19.
