MARYLAND — With the Thanksgiving holiday looming, Marylanders should check out two new grocery stores opening in Columbia and Potomac for possible deals. For lunch or dinner out, consider a few of the new eateries moving into the area, including Nash & Smash and Bubbakoo's Burritos. Try new Israeli bakery Tatte if you have a sweet tooth to satisfy.
Plus, renowned restaurateurs Cava Mezze and Duke's Grocery have new Maryland locations in the works. The luxury brand clothing boutique Tory Burch is open at its third store in the state.
If you're looking for fun places to visit, swing by Bowie-based Overdue Recognition Art Gallery, which represents dozens of African American artists or pop into the recently opened Tory Burch store.

Nash & Smash To Open Location By End Of 2024
If you're craving fried chicken, Nashville-style sandwiches and smash burgers, check out Nash & Smash, which will open its first Montgomery County location by the end of December. The dining spot will be located at 10121 Colesville Road in the Woodmoor Shopping Center.

Duke's Grocery, New Cava Mezze Eatery Coming
In its first venture outside the District, Duke's Grocery will replace the former Lock 72. In the same shopping center will be Cava Mezze, which will offer Italian-inspired cuisine, its founder said.
Grocery Outlet Opening 1st Location With Delivery Option
Grocery Outlet will open its first Howard County store and its 12th Maryland store next week. The outlet will kick off its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. with prizes awarded to customers starting at 8 a.m.
Tory Burch Store Opens 3rd MD Site
The luxury brand Tory Burch store is open in Bethesda. It's the third Maryland location for the brand, which has a store at 825 Dulaney Valley Road, Suite 2160, in Towson, and an outlet store at Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
