One Eleven Main Offers Fine Dining Experience In Historic Downtown Bel Air

BEL AIR, MD — For a fine dining experience in quaint historic downtown Bel Air, be sure and check out One Eleven Main.

The upscale eatery opened in October 2015 under the ownership of Richard Anderson and his son, David Anderson. It's perfect for date night, a wine tasting dinner with friends or to take advantage of their weekly specials.

"Our goal is to create a genuine sense of hospitality to our guests, sharing our passion for contemporary culinary traditions while using the freshest ingredients from local farmers, purveyors and fishermen," Kristen Oktavec, manager, told Patch.

Oktavec focused on carving out an intimate fine dining experience in Bel Air featuring creative cocktails, fine wine and award-winning cuisine created by executive chef Bryan Boessel, she told Patch. One Eleven Main also hosts private events.

"We carefully prepare and measure each pour for our craft cocktails, which customers love. They also appreciate the fresh seafood, provided by local watermen," she said.

Popular menu items include scallops, oysters, filet mignon, duck, the shrimp salad, smashburger and crab cakes, Oktavec said.

"Customers also appreciate the personal connection we emphasize here, along with the quality of food and the simple, intimate space," she said.

While most patrons are from across Harford County, some do travel to One Eleven Main from Baltimore, Pennsylvania and the DMV.

Another thing they love is the ambiance at One Eleven Main. It's housed in an 1860s historic building along Main Street.

In the past, the space has functioned as a coffee shop, florist, deli and a prohibition style bar. In fact, the restaurant received the Archer-Bull Award in 2018 for architecture and design through ADW Architecture Designs.

One Eleven Main is located at 111 S. Main Street. They're open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner starting at 4:45 p.m. through 9ish Tuesday through Saturday and for brunch on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There's also happy hour Tuesday through Friday 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. with special wins and chef select entrees, too.
