Photo of the Week: Forbidden Forest

Okay, so this patch of trees isn't so forbidden, it just looks a little that way.

Fog muffles everything, gives the world around us a grey cast and limits visibility. Sometimes it's spooky, sometimes soothing and when driving it's less than ideal.

On a recent foggy afternoon I spent some time outside in the fog. This shot takes some of that mysterious feel into account.

Vines, both living and dead, twist among nearby trees while the distant trees fade to grey. Of course, aperture also has something to do with that.
