Photos: 'Supermoon' Full Moon Rises Over Harford
The Supermoon was at it's peak during the early hours of Sunday morning.
You may have noticed an exceptionally bright moon this weekend.
The biggest and brightest moon of the year, dubbed a Supermoon, happens when the Moon is closer the Earth than it will be at any other point during the year, according to NASA.
This weekend's Supermoon peaked during the early morning hours June 23 and marked the closest the Moon will travel to the Earth until August 2014, according to NASA.
