Police ID Victim Killed In Edgewood Hit-And-Run Crash
While a suspect vehicle has been identified, investigators say they are still seeking witnesses and tips in the fatal crash.

BEL AIR, MD — After a fatal hit-and-run crash in Edgewood Sunday night, police said they have identified the woman who died. In addition, officials reported Monday afternoon that they found the vehicle and driver they believe hit the pedestrian.
Desirae Standiford, 41, of Abingdon, had been walking on Philadelphia Road east of Fashion Way when she was hit and killed, police said.
The crash happened near the Winters Run Bridge before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, according to investigators, who said medical personnel pronounced her deceased.

Based an investigation that involved evidence from the scene, troopers said they found a gray Ford pickup truck they believe hit Standiford. Officials said the driver was cooperating with authorities.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the crash or may have information about the suspect vehicle to call the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barracks at 410-838-4101.
