Registration Begins For Bel Air Police Youth Summer Camp
The camp is designed for kids who are interested in a law enforcement career.

For children interested in law enforcement, the Bel Air Police Department has the ideal, hands-on summer program.
Registration for the police youth summer camp opened on the first day of spring, March 20.
The program is availabe to boys and girls ages 10 to 14 who are interested in law enforcement as a profession, a release from the police department states.

Campers are required to wear a uniform, participate in daily physical training, hands-on demonstrations and hear from different officers and units including the K-9 Unit, Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit and Motorcycle Unit, according to the release.
The cost is $40 and all checks or money orders are to be made payable to the Town of Bel Air.

The camp runs 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. June 17 through June 21 at the Bel Air Armory, 37 N. Main Street.
Applications are available at the Bel Air Police Department and are due by June 4. Applications can be mailed to Officer Rick Krause, 39 N. Hickory Ave, Bel Air MD, 21014.
