Maryland School Nurse Administrator Of The Year Award Goes To Harford County Staffer

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The supervisor of health services for Harford County Public Schools, Mary Nasuta, has been named Maryland School Nurse Administrator of the Year.

With more than 40 years as a registered nurse and 30 years in school nursing, Nasuta brings lengthy experience to her role as supervisor of health services, overseeing 75 professional nurses who serve 38,000 students and families.

A nationally certified school nurse, Nasuta is a past president and director of the Maryland Association of School Nurses and the National Association of School Nurses. She also collaborates with the local health department as a member of the Local Health Improvement Council.
