An administrative change at Harford County Public Schools has led to several positions being eliminated, others changed or created.
In a release, officials announced that three offices—executive director of middle school performance, coordinator of intervention and coordinator of magnet programs—were eliminated effective July 1, with duties shifted to other positions.
There were two vacancies created as part of the changes: supervisor of business technology and magnet programs, and supervisor of equity and cultural proficiency.

The position of associate superintendent of curriculum and instruction was also eliminated, with some of the duties taken over by the new position executive director of curriculum and instruction, which will be filled on an acting basis by Susan Brown, the former coordinator of intervention for the school system, according to the release.
Officials distributed a chart (attached) to better explain the new administrative hierarchy. The release did not indicate that any employees lost jobs in the move.
