Snow Impacts Harford County Schools Schedule For Dec. 15
Harford County Public Schools officials have altered the school schedule for Monday, Dec. 15, due to a weekend snowstorm.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Due to the weather and concerning road conditions, Harford County Public Schools, including Swan Creek School, and offices will open three hours late Monday, Dec. 15, officials stated Sunday afternoon.
There won't be morning or afternoon Early Learners and Learning Together programs.
There also won't be any before school childcare.

"Any necessary re-evaluation will occur by 7:45 a.m. tomorrow morning," stated Jillian Lader, spokesperson for Harford County Public Schools.
Weekend snowfall ranged from 2 to 6 inches. Frigid air and wind chills near zero degrees came on the heels of snow that fell overnight in Maryland Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Bel Air saw 5.3 inches of snow; Chrome Hill received 6 inches, Fallston measured 4.7 inches, Churchville reported 2.5 inches and 3.3 inches fell at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
