Sports Apparel Store Specializing In Unique Items Relocates To Bel Air Site
Wild Bill's has moved to a site in Bel Air with unique and hard-to-find items alongside popular goods for Orioles, Ravens fans.

BEL AIR, MD — Orioles and Ravens fans know that to find the best apparel and support local, swing by Wild Bills Apparel, which reopened at a new location this June.
Lisa Blimline, owner of Wild Bills, celebrated her store's relocation with a ribbon cutting Friday. After being at a spot in Nottingham, she now can be found at 142 A N. Bond Street in Bel Air.
"In 2012, we took over the old building (in Nottingham) that had been gutted and vandalized. It was a project. But thanks to family and friends who rallied, we made it our home. But unfortunately in 2018, Bill's health issues took a bad turn and in 2020, we sold the building to get Bill to a place where he could peacefully pass on to Heaven," Blimline told Patch. "It was a wonderful and horrible experience. Lots of emotions there."

While tending to Bill, Blimline managed to keep her kiosks open at the stadiums. After hanging out with friends in Bel Air, she found herself drawn to the community.
"Realizing that there isn’t a sports store here or at least not one like mine, I decided to give it a go. Last March, a property came available in the Hamilton building and I figured - you know - it’s time for a roof over my head again," Blimline told Patch. "It might be hard to tell from the outside but inside, well, I’ve managed to turn the 1,800 square feet into a really trendy looking sports boutique. Lots of places carry tees and hats, and so do we, but we also have unique products that are hard to find, like our boots."

Customers range in age from newborns to 100 and are simply fans of the Orioles or Ravens - or both. Blimline also carries some Steelers and Yankees items, as well as swag for visiting teams at the kiosks located at the stadiums. She'd also like to delve into carrying more vintage items and collectibles, too.
"I have lots of ideas to expand our product line. I must say, you really have to love your hometown and its fans to list in this industry. Bill had been hustling since he was a kid at Memorial Stadium with the Colts and the Orioles. So we’ve been around a very long time," Blimline said. "Personally, I’ve been doing this since I met Bill at 19 and I’m now 58. I really don’t know anything else. He was the magic man though, could just make stuff happen. And we all miss him terribly. So I hope I do a good job carrying on without him."
