Star Student Athlete: Bel Air's Eric Shines On And Off The Field, Court

BEL AIR, MD — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Eric is the most thoughtful, energetic, exemplary, caring, loving, smart, dedicated and funny young person you ever want to be around. He always puts others needs before his own. On the field and court as a player Eric always put his teammates first. Whenever one of his teammates get injured he is first by their sides to assist and help. Eric is a great motivator as well. Whenever the teams falls behind, and need a pick-me-up, Eric jumps in gives peep talk to his teammates. In school Eric helps his friends cope with day-to-day trials, and school related and personal challenges. He is always there to lend a hand when his phone rings to help with a flat tire, offer a ride or just being a good listener. I feel that part of his mannerisms come from his father who is a veteran. A lot of Eric’s traits as a young man are displayed in his father’s beliefs. Protect and serve those who cannot defend themselves and always be held accountable for your actions.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

That he is very compassionate about the sports he play.
