The Orient to Open after New Year
The Orient, a restaurant that will serve Chinese and Japanese cuisine, has been under construction on Main Street in Bel Air for months. While the owner had hoped it would open by Jan. 1, that date has been pushed back.
The owner of The Orient , but the projected opening date now falls some time in February.
David Huang, owner of The Orient, told Patch Tuesday the restaurant is "not opening yet."

Huang said Tuesday the restaurant, which will serve Chinese and Japanese cuisine, will likely open in about 45 days.
The Orient has achieved popularity at locations in Towson and Perry Hall, Huang told Patch in November. The Bel Air location is the restaurant's newest.
