This Week: Outdoor Movie, Work Session

Friday boasts the main attraction in Bel Air this week with an outdoor movie scheduled in Shamrock Park, but that's not all that's going on.

Here are highlights of what's going on in town this week. Have your own events to add or know of something we missed? Post it to our events page.

• Bel Air Board of Commissioners will hold a work session in preparation of next week's town meeting. The work session will take place at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue.

• Marketplace on Main, the weekday farmer's market, will be open from 3- 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Downtown Parking Lot on Main Street between the Main Street Tower Restaurant and the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

• Sounding Brass will perform in Shamrock Park from 7- 9 p.m. Wednesday as part of the summer concert series. Rain location is Bel Air High School.

• Rise of the Guardians is this week's movie to be featured outdoors in Shamrock Park. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday and the movie begins at sunset.
