MARYLAND — One of the DMV's longtime esteemed broadcast journalists has announced his retirement. David Lucas will lead his last broadcast later this month, WJLA said.

Whether you need a beer, a cup of coffee or a chicken sandwich, you're in luck. Silver Branch Brewing Company will open another Montgomery County location, while Chick-fil-A welcomed its first eatery with a drive-thru in the Baltimore region.

The Screaming Bean coffee shop that opened this summer in Aberdeen not only offers coffee, tea and specialty drinks, but serves up baked goods and supports local nonprofits.

David Lucas, one of the region's most highly regarded broadcast journalists, said he plans to retire as a news anchor for WJLA. His last broadcast will be on Nov. 22, according to the station.
