The former Roy Rogers, which has stood vacant for some time, is getting a major facelift, with crews tearing the roof down to beams and renovating the interior. Before it was a Roy Rogers, the building housed a Hardee's.

Fast food will not be on the menu at that location when construction and renovations are complete.
Timothy Posecznick, with The Crissey Architectural Group, told Patch the building will soon become the home of Cellular Sales, a Verizon Wireless retailer.

Posecznick said the Knoxville, TN, based company is expected to fill the vacant building within 6-8 weeks.
