What's Open, Closed For Veterans Day 2024 In Harford County
Here's what is open and closed in Harford County in observance of Veterans Day 2024 and details about Havre de Grace's Veterans Day Parade.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — In recognition of Veterans Day on Friday, government offices will be closed as will the Harford County Public Library, Harford Waste Disposal Center, county senior centers and courts.
Regular household trash collection for Bel Air residents who normally have their trash picked up on Mondays will be collected on Wednesday. Residents who normally have their trash picked up on Tuesdays will remain on Tuesday. Because of the modified holiday refuse schedule, there will be no bulk collection on Nov. 13. There will not be any loose leaf or yard waste collection Monday.
Harford County Public Schools, schools and offices will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

The Veterans Day Parade will take place at 11 a.m. in Hutchins Park in Havre de Grace. Participants should meet in the park by 10:45 a.m. The parade route may change due to construction but currently is marching down Saint Johns from Congress Avenue and ending at the American Legion where a luncheon will be provided for veterans and their families.
