Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Harford, Baltimore Counties

The National Weather Service placed parts of Harford and Baltimore counties under a winter weather advisory Wednesday morning.

Precipitation “moving in along the Mason-Dixon line coupled with surface temperatures hovering around freezing” prompted officials to issue the advisory, the National Weather Service reported before 9 a.m.

Light freezing rain may accumulate into a glaze of ice that could affect the morning commute, forecasters said.

Drivers and pedestrians should be extra careful because surfaces may be slippery.

The winter weather advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30.
