Woman Killed After Car Hits Parked Vehicle, Guard Rail
A Joppatowne woman was killed after her vehicle hit a parked car then the guard rail in Chesapeake City, according to police.
JOPPATOWNE, MD — A 46-year-old Joppatowne woman died in a single-vehicle car crash over the weekend, police say.
The Cecil County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called around 4:19 a.m. Nov. 3 to the area of Lock and Bank streets in Chesapeake City. The sheriff's office said a vehicle traveling south on Lock Street hit an unoccupied, parked vehicle and then a guardrail.
The driver, Nicole Ann Sunderland, died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
