Youth Flown To Hospital After Car Crash Shuts Down All Lanes Of I95

A juvenile was flown to the hospital Monday morning after being involved in a single vehicle car crash that shut down all lanes of I95.

ABERDEEN, MD — A single vehicle crash closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near the Maryland House Monday morning, and a juvenile passenger was flown to Johns Hopkins.

According to the Harford County Fire and EMS Department, volunteer firefighters from the Abingdon Fire Company and an EMS unit along with firefighters from the Aberdeen Fire Company were called to the scene around 9:10 a.m., which was just past exit 80 at MD 543 Creswell Road.

A Maryland State Police Aviation Command medevac flew the youth to the hospital. At 10 a.m., all lanes remained closed and by 10:42 a.m., a detour was put in place, according to the fire department. By 11:30 a.m., the two left lanes were open but the right lane remained closed.
