Andy's Pizza Gets Closer To Opening In Downtown Bethesda: Report

BETHESDA, MD — Construction on Andy’s Pizza new location in Bethesda is moving along, with the possibility of the new restaurant opening this summer, according to reports.

The location, Andy's Pizza's first restaurant in Maryland, will be located at 4600 East-West Highway in downtown Bethesda in the former site of sandwich shop Booeymonger.

“A June 1 opening date had been circled on the calendar, but I think you'll agree from these photos that this may be an unrealistic target as of now,” Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported, with photos showing how construction is going.

When it opens, Andy's Pizza will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Andy’s Pizza has four locations in Washington, D.C. and two in Virginia.

"The Bethesda location will also have more space than average — its other locations run roughly 1,800 square feet — to accommodate larger parties," the Washington Business Journal reported.
