Barks, Brews & BBQ To Showcase Adoptable Dogs In North Bethesda
A dog-friendly beer garden event in North Bethesda's Pike District will offer local beer and food and live music on Saturday, Nov. 4.
NORTH BETHESDA, MD — A dog-friendly beer garden event in North Bethesda’s Pike District will offer local beer and food and live music on Saturday, Nov. 4
The event, Barks, Brews, & BBQ, will take place in the Pike District Pop-up Park at Grand Park and Banneker avenues, one block south of Old Georgetown Road.
The ticketed event, hosted by the Pike District Partnership, will offer attendees access to the four-hour event with seating based on a first-come, first-served basis at picnic tables or Adirondack chairs.

The 19th Street Band will headline the event, with its Americana, country and rock music. Neel Madan and Mike Newberry will also be performing acoustic sets at the event.
“We are excited to showcase local beers and BBQ in an outdoor venue that has been welcoming concert-goers to our Thursdays in the Park series nearly all summer. We are keeping the party going this fall with an exciting musical guest and by helping support PetConnect,” Eugene Cornelius, executive director of the Pike District Partnership, said in a statement.

Each event $25 ticket includes two $5 drink credits, one $10 food credit, and one $5 donation to local nonprofit PetConnect, which will be in attendance with adoptable dogs on site.
Other local pet businesses, including Dogtopia, PetWell Clinic, and Paw by Paw Dog Training, will be at the beer garden with vendor tables. Barks, Brews, & BBQ attendees are encouraged to bring their furry friends to this dog-friendly event to enjoy the dedicated play area, treats, giveaways and a pet photo booth.
Brews and BBQ will be provided by Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co., Waredaca Brewing Company, Liquidity Aleworks, 7 Locks Brewing and Grubbing Hard Barbecue Co.
The Beer Garden will be open on Saturday, Nov. 4 from noon to 4 p.m. The public can visit the event website to purchase tickets.
