According to police, detectives traced the IP address included in the tip to a residence in Kensington and identified the account as being connected to Morrison.
Detectives were given a search warrant for Morrison’s home on Oct. 2. The following day, MCPD detectives executed the warrant on Nicholson Lane and recovered multiple pieces of evidence. Later that month, detectives obtained a second search warrant to examine the electronic devices seized from Morrison's home.
