Bethesda's Gallery B To Present [C’est L’art] Exhibit In April
A new exhibit titled [c'est l'art], curated to challenge the perception of what is art, is coming to Gallery B in Bethesda in April.

BETHESDA, MD — A new exhibit titled [c’est l’art], curated to challenge the perception of what is art, is coming to Gallery B in Bethesda starting on April 7.
Through an eclectic mix of style and mediums, each piece reflects a critique of art culture. [C’est l’art] will feature the work of artists Michael Hyman, Susan Washington and Dana Ellyn.
[C’est l’art] will be exhibited April 7-30, with an opening reception on Friday, April 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Gallery hours for the show will be Friday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hyman is a practicing visual artist and curator in the field of painting and hybrid combinations of mediums, ranging from digital 3D sculpture and video installation to photography. His work has been shown both nationally and internationally.
Washington is an abstract painter from Brooklyn, New York. She comes from a family of painters and has painted all her life. She made her career in the fashion industry in New York City for 20 years before relocating to Baltimore in 2021.

A resident of Washington, D.C., Ellyn became a full-time artist in 2002 when she decided to leave her corporate job and pursue painting. Ellyn's style sits on the fence between social realism and expressionism.
Gallery B, managed by the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District and Bethesda Urban Partnership, is located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite E, Bethesda.
