Beth's Cafe And Bar Will Open In Bethesda Dec. 6
Beth's Cafe and Bar is set to open Dec. 6 in the heart of downtown Bethesda. The restaurant is operated by the owners of ala in D.C.

BETHESDA, MD — Beth's Cafe and Bar, the latest addition to Bethesda's dining scene, is set to open on Friday, Dec. 6, in the heart of downtown at 4948 Fairmont Ave.
According to a company news release, Beth's will specialize in casual American food and drinks in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The name Beth’s is an ode to “Bethesda,” where owners Deniz and Celal Gulluoglu live and currently own and also operate ala, a Michelin-rated eatery in Washington, D.C.

The menu at Beth's will focus on fresh, locally sourced produce, and classic American flavors with a contemporary twist, as well as a curated beverage program, including signature cocktails, and a selection of beers and wines, the owners said.
Offerings are a variety from the Bites section of the menu, including MD Crab Dip, Brussel Sprouts and Mac N Cheese. The menu includes favorites like Tacos, and sandwiches like the Smashed Burger and Steak and Cheese.

Beth’s features an industrial style, including some sketched walls. Beth’s has 80 seats in the dining room, with an additional 20 bar seats. Covered patio seating includes seating for 30 and will feature a firepit.
The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
